背景： 优衣库UT系列在2025年蛇年继续 与中国著名艺术家——韩美林合作， 韩美林的设计主要以水墨为主，而优衣库给人简洁、时尚、现代的感觉。 两者之间较难融合，特别是在面向年轻人的服饰上。 RIFLING需要解决这个问题。 创意： 我们基于韩美林的水墨蛇与岩板画进行了现代化的处理。 在水墨蛇部分，我们将蛇进行了重构，让整体的蛇型被解构，让蛇在画面中更具有现代风格与氛围。 在岩板画系列中，我们加入了水彩色块，让整体的色块与岩板画的抽象黑色生肖进行结合，创造出了 具有强烈抽象表现主义的影子，让整个岩板画的设计更为现代。并加入了有色块的背景，这也让岩板画设计更为现代。我们设计了更具现代感的文字与纹样，让韩美林的绘画能与优衣库更好的融合。
BACKGROUND: The UNIQLO UT series will continue its collaboration with renowned Chinese artist Han Meilin in 2025, the Year of the Snake. Han Meilin's designs are primarily ink-based, while UNIQLO is known for its minimalistic, fashionable, and modern aesthetics. The challenge lies in blending the two styles, especially for clothing targeted at younger audiences. RIFLING is tasked with addressing this issue. IDEA： We modernized Han Meilin's ink snake and stone slab paintings. For the ink snake designs, we restructured the snake's form, deconstructing it to create a modern aesthetic and atmosphere within the visuals. For the stone slab painting series, we introduced watercolor blocks, merging the abstract black zodiac motifs of the stone slabs with colorful blocks. This fusion evokes a strong sense of abstract expressionism, giving the stone slab designs a more contemporary feel. We also added color-blocked backgrounds, further enhancing the modernity of the stone slab designs. To ensure seamless integration between Han Meilin's artwork and UNIQLO's brand identity, we developed modernized typography and patterns, aligning his artistry with UNIQLO’s youthful and stylish appeal.
